Joseph Varga School is a specialist school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, based in New South Wales.

Brandtribal has worked with the school for over 13 years, supporting its digital presence as requirements have evolved. The current website represents a transition from WordPress to Webflow, with a focus on improving usability, simplifying content management, and delivering a clean, accessible experience for families and the broader school community.

The site is intentionally structured as a single-page experience, allowing users to quickly access key information including school programs, events, reports, and policies without navigating across multiple pages.

The focus was to create a simple, accessible website that reflects the needs of the school community.

Content was structured into clearly defined sections, allowing parents, carers, and visitors to quickly find relevant information without complexity. The single-page format reduces friction and keeps navigation intuitive, particularly for users accessing the site on mobile devices.

To maintain privacy, the design avoids the use of student photography, instead relying on colour, illustration, and layout to create a welcoming and engaging experience. Subtle interactive elements and animations were introduced to add visual interest without overwhelming the user.

While the site does not rely on a CMS, external tools are used to manage dynamic content such as the school calendar. This approach provides flexibility while keeping the platform lightweight and easy to maintain.

The domain and broader infrastructure are managed through the NSW Department of Education, ensuring alignment with school system requirements.
